Well it's an Indian sounding name, if you are trying to write a character. I guess names have association with castes and religions and regions in india, so you'd need to make sure it was plausible in that way.
If it's an imaginary friend then the child should call them whatever they want?

My Sikh friend's DD is called Priyanka, I think it's a really pretty name.

It's a nice name but I've met a two nasty Priyanka' s in my life. So associate the name with being a bit nasty.

Although I love the actress Priyanka Chopra. Class!!
