Jude Luca or Luca Jude?

Due a little boy at the start of April - we’ve decided on two names we absolutely love but cannot make our minds up which way around they sound best (first and middle)…

Jude Luca or Luca Jude?

Our surname is two syllables and begins with a C. Any help much appreciated! 😊

Jude Luca sounds clunky. Jude by itself is fine. Luca Jude trips off the tongue nicely.

I say Jude as at my child’s school there are so many Luca’s

I wouldn't base your decision on what flows better as people very rarely use their middle name let alone same them out loud very often except maybe in private to a customer services agent!

Just pick which name you prefer for their first name.

But for what it's worth Luca Jude does flow a little better, however I prefer the name Jude 😊

Both names are nice but assuming your surname is something like Carter, Luca Carter is awkward to say, Jude Carter is better.
