I think it is quite a harsh name, but then I like 'pretty' names for girls and strong names for boys so I suppose I am quite traditional and boring.

Have you ever been to Blythe in Northumberland? I'm not sure I'd want to name my dd the same as that town, hope your surname isn't colliery
