I kind of like it. I like the Saxon period in history and I also liked the band of that name. It's an unusual name for a person, but not unheard of and I don't think it sounds difficult to live with.

I know one, he’s in his twenties now. I didn’t like the name when I first heard it but it has grown on me.

I agree. If they choose appropriate names it'll be easier for the rest of us to know and hide when necessary.

In my defence, I suspect it was the teenage Saxon fans with whom I associated at the time who were dodgy. I was always a prog girl and a bit scared of the headbangers.😂
