Have chosen between two names, but need help with middle names for both …

Hello, we have chosen between Evelyn and Clara. We aren’t sure if it’s going to be a wait until birth scenario because we do love both names but swaying slightly towards Clara at the minute .The middle names we have for Evelyn and clara are as follows.

Clara Eloise
clara sophia
clara evangeline
clara isobel

I really like Clara Evangeline, also love Clara Eloise. I do like Evelyn Sofia - I would spell it Evelyn Sophia, but spelling of middle name doesn't really matter. I do like Evelyn Lily, but it kinda rhymes.

They are all lovely names!

I like Evelyn, clara is fine but a bit overused I think.
Evelyn sounds better to me with a i or 2 syllable middle name. Evelyn Sofia is a lot.
Evelyn Grace came to me for some reason.

I find clara Eloise hard to say clearly, I think it's the double vowel. Clara Louise sounds better to me.

Hi i think it must be regional both names ive never met one in person somehow and clara is 92 most popular vs Evelyn i think is 14 so its actually more common apparently! But again never met any ! I like all your suggestions however there are family names im trying to not use for arguments sake x

If I had had a girl she would have been Clara or Sophia, so Clara Sophia gets my vote. So beautiful and elegant with great meaning in the names - clarity and wisdom.

I do think Evelyn Lily is a bit of a tongue twister. Evelyn Sofia is lovely but I prefer Evelyn Sophia. Clara Evangeline is simply stunning

Of your whole list my favourite combo would be Evelyn Isobel, which isn't one of your options, but I think is perfect.

My children are young adults now. I wish I had given them family names as their middle names. Both of my parents are gone now and it would be so meaningful if I had used their names or the names of my grandparents. Are family names worth considering?

She is going to have 3 set of grandparents and two from my in laws which dont particularly get along so it would cause arguments ! My mums names vicky love her but dont like her name x

So interesting, to my ear Clara Eloise is clunky and awkward and Evelyn Lily flows beautifully!
