I'm only 6 weeks + 3 pregnant. But my partner and I are already thinking of names (as many do)

We LOVE for girls

Rosabella (would probably spell Roseabella)
Louella

For boys

Ronnie
Sully

Let me know you opinions! X

I'd prefer Rose and Sunny

I like Luella a lot

Rosabella does not need anymore flounce, so I would definitely avoid spelling it Roseabella - no one spells Rosa Rosea do they?

I think Rosanna or Rosaria is nicer though

Sully is fine as a nn for Sullivan or something, on its own it’s a bit like you CBA

I hate Ronnie - it’s just thuggish to me - but Robert nn Robbie is nice

@ThisDearJoker I think you need to google 'rosea' and see what pops up. My first result is https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/pityriasis-rosea/

As for the boy names, don't use nicknames.

nhs.uk

Pityriasis rosea

Find out about pityriasis rosea, including what the symptoms are and what to do if it's uncomfortable or itchy.

Definitely don’t spell it Roseabella

TheSandgroper · 01/02/2025 14:04

You do know that sully is a word, don’t you? Have you looked it up?

”to damage the purity or integrity of”.

Don’t do that to your son.

I like your girl names but not the spelling. No need to add in extra letters that don't change the pronunciation.

Don't like either of the boy names.
To me Ronnie is old fashioned and dated.
Sully isn't a name, it's a nickname.
