Neither. Both sound like working class American names.

I know a 16yo called carson. Really suited him as a child and 100% does as a young man. Lovely name.

I keep thinking of Wee Willie Carson.

ChonkyRabbit · 23/01/2025 01:11

I don't like either. Carson is a surname and Franklin is a surname or an elderly man.

Viavitaperro · 23/01/2025 01:16

I hate both.
Some celebrity had Parker, then Carter.
Awful. As is Hudson.
Sorry !
Much nicer names out there.

ODFOx · 23/01/2025 01:16

Depends if you are married I suppose. Use your DH's surname if you're married, or your own surname if not.

Viavitaperro · 23/01/2025 01:17

Oh, I hate Franklin.

RogueFemale · 23/01/2025 01:17

I like Franklin as it reminds me of the Furry Freak Brothers.

Freewheelin' Franklin!

I like Franklin, though it’s quite popular if that bothers you

Carson is awful
