Middle names to go with Elodie

Hi!

Has anyone got any suggestions for middle names to go with Elodie? I do feel with a 3 syllable first name it would be best to have a one syllable middle name if that makes sense, so it’s not a mouthful!

Husband likes Elodie Grace, I’m more a fan of Elodie Neve (or Niamh not sure how we’d spell yet) but looking for any other suggestions!

🤦‍♀️ Google is your friend here 👌🏻

It's a perfectly ordinary (and very lovely) name.

My first thought without opening the thread was Elodie May

I agree about the one syllable name. I also like Elodie Joy, Elodie Beth, Elodie Pearl, Elodie Faith

Elodie Grace and Elodie Neve are lovely too

Kate

Rose/May/Grace have been done to death and then some.

Yes. Sick of seeing them suggested every bloody time. How about Faith OP?

I'm afraid I'm not keen on Elodie as it sounds like L.O.D.

Emanwenym · 09/01/2025 11:46

@marshmallowfinder , I think it sounds like Malady.

BestThingAtThisParty · 09/01/2025 11:47

Elodie Alice

Thanks everyone I actually really like Elodie Alexandra so I think we may now be leaning towards that, it’s not a family name but it is a favourite of my mums (was going to be my brothers name if he was a girl)

None of the family names are really ones we like unfortunately so wouldn’t want to use

I like Beau for girls, Elodie Beau is lovely.

Beau is a masculine word, the feminine version is Belle

Agree, I think it would be odd to use a popular French girls name then add a masculine French word as the middle name.

Mylittlebobble · 09/01/2025 12:55

Elodie Brooke
Elodie Clara
Elodie Bridgette
Elodie Jayne

How about a family name? Middle names never get used...
