Ottilie and… baby sis needs name!

Hi all, we are really struggling with a name for our second daughter and would love some opinions/suggestions please!

Our first is ‘Ottilie Sophia’.

I loved Adeline, Cecily (Cici), Ruby (Roo), Clara and Ophelia but sadly hubby won’t get on board.

We both like Zara & Elodie - He’s on the fence with Alba which is currently my favourite.

He loves Millie which I do like but don’t think it goes with Ottilie.

Any input would be appreciated…

Maybe Emmeline, Millicent, Camilla or Melissa nn Milly? It’s a bit too nicknamey to go with Ottilie all by itself I agree.

I like Zara, but I think Elodie and Ottilie fall over each other a bit - it’s the double 3 syllables plus y ending - but Eloise, Elowen or Eleanor would all work

I would stick with 3 syllables but would go for something less ‘ee’ sounding

I agree with this - as an adult - but when the children are little you do list their names and those of friends’ children. If they are not along similar lines it does sound strange.

I knew a couple - through my husband’s work - who had little children in similar groupings to ‘Thomasina and Gary’. Each fine on their own but together?
