Best out of these lists for both

Currently pregnant with third. These are my lists for each as we don’t know if we’re having a boy or girl. DH was very derogatory about a lot of them but is yet to come up with any suggestions! Which is best?

Sadie for a girl.

Not keen on any of the boys names but if pushed would pick Miles I think.

What about Finn instead of Flynn?

Cora and Benjamin

Love Cora or Sadie.

boys - another vote for Finn instead of Flynn. And love Benjamin: have known a couple, Benji when little, morphed into Benj as teens.

Prefer Cora and Sadie, maybe Niamh

Like Ben or Dan

I like Finn but friends have a Finley which is why I put Flynn on the list but it was a big no from DH on that one anyway.

Don't like any for the girls but I do like Cara (similar to Cora).
Benjamin for a boy.

Girls - I like Cora, Sadie, Carys and Niamh best. Ideas - Cara, Clara, Leonie (said LAYonie), Alayna / Elaina / Elena nn Lanie, Cerys and Maeve.

Boys - I like Daniel, Stanley, Benjamin, Flynn. Ideas - Reid, Robert, Benedict, Fraser, Spencer

Sorry I don’t like your girls’ names. We must have completely different taste. Of your boys’ names I like Daniel.

I dislike all your girls names except for Sadie which is absolutely gorgeous.

From your boys names I like Benjamin best....good choice of nicknames and suits all ages

Fair enough, we can’t all like the same! I’m open to suggestions as like I say DH was dubious about my list too.

DH is from an Irish catholic family. He’d never heard of Carys and we don’t have a Welsh connection so that one might be off the list too.

I'd have a hard time choosing between Sadie and Carys, with Niamh a very close runner up.

Dislike the rest; though Constance is nice I hate Connie.

I like the boy names in order Myles, Benjamin, and Stanley.

I really dislike the rest of the boy names.

If your H has close links to Ireland, Cora is probably going to sound very dumpy and not at all chic to him.

The surnamey names are going to sound very alien.
