We are struggling to come up with a name for our little boy that isn't too British or too Indian sounding- can anyone help?? Can't begin with A as doesn't work with surname/ middle name and don't like names starting with Bh/ Dh. Any ideas please?

Rohan is indeed a fabulous name. I've no Indian heritage/connection but have some other foreign heritage (partial) and it sounds very good if I have that language's hat on.

Binkybunny13 · 22/12/2024 22:20

Thanks for the suggestions. More very welcome!
Not sure how to quote I'm afraid, but have too many Rowan/ Rohan's in family and friend circles so it just wouldn't work. And unfortunately have family and friends with lots of the other suggested names- think I might be looking for a unicorn name at the moment! Boys names are just so hard

Friends of mine in Australia (originally from near Punjab) called their son Zamir, which really suits him! Means handsome. Also easy to pronounce and spell.

They also considered Zarend. They like Z names.
