Hope is lovely and I also like Faith. I like these because they are not that popular.

Have you considered Hester? It's very Jilly Cooper esque!

I'd go Honor all day long though out of your two - it's a lot fresher than Grace

Love Honor. Also love Hope and Verity. Grace is pretty but very popular.

OtterOnAPlane · 18/11/2024 06:57

Deff Honor. Every class will have a Grace or two, and I don't think it's a pretty sound.

Manchesterbythesea · 18/11/2024 07:26

I love Grace. Honor is ok, I’d use it as the middle name.

Rainbow321 · 18/11/2024 07:31

Both ok , prefer Grace but agree , quite popular .
How do they sound with your surname ? Does one go better than the other . How about the initials ?

Inezz · 18/11/2024 07:34

Honor - lovely name!

Grace is way too popular for me - it's a really common first and middle name.

I really like Hope as well - as suggested by a PP.

SprigatitoYouAndIKnow · 18/11/2024 07:39

Like the meaning of Honor, but not how it sounds "on a". Grace, Faith and Hope are all much nicer.

Jeschara · 18/11/2024 22:08

Honor, a lovely beutiful underused name. Definitely prefer to Grace.

Calliopespa · 18/11/2024 22:14

Why oh why is Honor not Honour, even in the UK?

Unless you are American that spelling demands to be pronounced Hoe-nor.

I’m sorry I don’t think Grace or Honor are pretty names, but I do like Hope, as well as the meaning. My favourite virtue name is Clemency.

Its use as a name is from the Latin word and that's how it's spelt in Latin.

Ah thanks: I’ve always wondered why.
