3rd boy help!!!

Hi, reaching out for more input please and some random suggestions for 3rd boy due in 7 weeks!

Sibling for Edward & Henry but thinking a bit wild card this time and using a name I wasn’t brave enough to go for previously!

shortlist so far:
Rupert
Percy
Barney
Rufus
Caspar

Don't want to go with the obvious George, Arthur, James, William etc!

any ideas very welcome, thank you!

Could you not go wildcard with the middle name/s instead - go completely crazy with something like Horatio or Ptolemy etc to your hearts content? 🤣

It’s just that while I don’t think siblings have to match exactly, it does seem a bit unfair that his brothers get names that are popular (can get tat with their names on easily in shops, no spelling difficulties etc), internationally very well known/used, and impossible to tell age or background of them- but DS3 gets something without those benefits. He may love having a name that stands out more of course, but if he turns out to be a shyer/ introverted child…

Despite that, I admit of your list I do like elegant Caspar and quirky Rufus, though I find Barney childish sounding, Rupert wet and Percy nerdy, sorry 🤣

But maybe there’s a halfway house, if you don’t want to go Kingly anymore? (although I still think something like Alexander would fit right in - you could go unusual with the nn instead and go for Lex or Xand). Maybe also consider something classic but not quite as popular like Nathaniel, Owen etc?

I don't think your wildcard names are 'out there' at all! Caspar is a great name. Quite like Rupert too.

Some random suggestions: Felix, Eric, Alistair, Conrad, Tobias, Robin, Xander, Ambrose, Louis, Tristan, Edmund, Otis, Cedric, Peter, Adam, Anthony, Benedict.

Rupert or Barney are great from your list, they seem to fit better with Edward and Henry too over the other ones
