I've known two women called this name and they've both pronounced it phonetically just as you say. However both were British and so were their parents so maybe they were wrong.

It's pronounced ZO-sha. It's a beautiful Polish name.

The one I know is half Polish and half Irish, and as she lives in Ireland her parents spelled her name Zosha, rather than the traditional Polish Zosia.
