Names for a baby girl

For girls names, we love the girls name Isla, and another name we like is Emilia shortened to Millie. We like the middle name Grace, and our surname is one syllable. What sounds better Isla Grace or Millie Grace?

Both are lovely. I think I’d pick Emilia Grace, nn Millie. (Nice range of nn options if she likes when older - Emmy, Lia, Mia).

Consider though: If her surname begins with a "G" Emilia Grace will have initials EGG. And Isla Grace would be IGG. Isla is harder to remember for me, though for whatever reason. Isla will likely become "Izzy" and if she is blonde it will be "Dizzy Izzy" in the US.😂

Not a fan of Emilia but I do like Amelia, Emily and Millie.

Honestly? Utterly boring. Every Isla will be an Isla Grace/May/Rose. Same with Millie/Emilia. Both incredibly popular and every girls has those middle names.

I'm afraid I agree that they are all utterly boring. Emilia/Amelia have the vile 'mealy' sound within them so I would avoid that, for sure.

I love Nora but not Norah. That spelling isn't good.

I really like Aria too. Mila is quite popular but still all 3 of them are better than Isla and Emilia in my opinion. Emilia will get mispelled more often than not.

Isla Grace is lovely. I don’t see the point of naming her Emilia (which is lovely too) if she’s going to end up being called Millie.

I like Nora and Mila. Mila could be a shortening for Emilia if you wanted the best of both worlds?

I don’t like Mila at all, it’s such a nothingy name and is more of a noise, to me anyway. Meeeela. It doesn’t feel like a proper name. Aria is ok, quite popular. Not a fan of Norah.

Mila - is it Mill-a, My-la or Mee-la? Don't like it anyway.

Well there are three Emilias in my 9 year olds class. And Grace is a top filler middle name.
So I'd go for Isla for a tiny bit of variety.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? Along a similar theme. Our surname is Pang.

Emily/Emmeline or Camilla or Romilly with the nn Milly if you want it. Aria is nice too if you are a musical family.

Emilia will get Amelia a lot of the time, Isla is very trendy and may date, Norah is too old lady for me. Similar Cora is nicer imo (could also be short for Cordelia).
