Along the lines of Arthur, Jasper.

Having a bit of a block on names, with the exception of the two above. I’m quite set on a two syllable name but not immoveable!

Who were Arthur and Jasper in Tudor history? @SemperIdem

This is widely known information but -

Jasper Tudor - Henry VII’s uncle, instrumental in helping get him on the throne.

Arthur Tudor - Henry VII’s first born son, Catherine of Aragon’s first husband. History might have looked quite different had he not died.

Thanks. I knew who Arthur Tudor, but not Jasper. I've never studied English history.

Fair enough! There will definitely be hefty gaps in my knowledge of other countries History.

Is interesting what you said about seeing them as very different sorts of names though, I was chatting about them with my mum and she said the same but didn’t elaborate on why. Not saying either of you are wrong in that, two people thinking it suggests I might be the minority.
