What are your thoughts? Is it too feminine?
it is my favourite DH likes but not fully onboard as he thinks DS may get picked on for having a feminine name

It's a bit scally where I'm from, it gets shortened to Franny.

Sorry I really can’t bear it! I find it quite weird and creepy. Yes feminine but also just odd. Dislike Frank (and it’s got really popular over the last few years) and really don’t like Fran for a boy.

I like it but I am biased as I have a 7yo Frances (girl!) and know 3 boys aged 8 and under called Francis, two of whom go by the full name and one goes by Frank. I haven't heard of any teasing about any of their names.

Great name. Very Mediterranean. Frank or Francie if preferred
