There's a blast from the past!

Ideal for a golden retriever, not so much for a child

meltedchocolateandstrawberries · 24/08/2024 21:04

There's 2 in my son's school. I quite like it. It's different but well known enough that people won't spell it wrong or anything.

Tootjaskoot · 24/08/2024 21:05

Great name! There’s one in my kid’s class. Love it.

GeorgeBeckett · 24/08/2024 21:10

Worked with a grown up one many years ago. He was lovely and is now very high flying.

Other association is One Day, read the book years ago but the show has just been on.

I think you definitely can!

Dexter Fletcher springs to mind , he was a tv actor now director . just looked , he's my age

Or , our cat , not named after the TV Serial Killer , hopefully

sel2223 · 25/08/2024 06:07

Do you like it OP? That's all that matters.

MistyF · 25/08/2024 08:49

I like idea of Dexter, but don't like show association nor I like it means right handed. I like sound of Dexter.
I prefer Declan or Dylan

user1492757084 · 25/08/2024 09:11

I prefer Rex, Hector, Duncan and Declan.

Dex Dexter

SabbatWheel · 25/08/2024 13:07

I know a teen Dexter, it suits him.

longdistanceclaraclara · 25/08/2024 13:08

Fletcher.

I love it.

Ariela · 25/08/2024 15:02

No if you live rurally (breed of cow).

CoffeeAndSunrise · 25/08/2024 16:28

I like it but it does seem a very popular dog name so I'd be reluctant to use for a baby.
