I wouldn't even use these for a pet never mind a future adult.
I'll take a guess that you're a hipster who works in the 'arts'? trying too hard to be cool.

salamithumbs · 03/08/2024 22:56

My favourite is Omri, and I suppose Ivo is OK too. Not fond of the others, sorry! Some (like Tennyson) just sound pretentious to me, and Penny is a girl's name.
For similar sounds, what about:
-Heath
-Isaac
-Grayson
-Otis
-Calvin / Cameron / Carson
-Evander/Eli / Emmett /Emerson / Evan / Elijah

Ivo and Inigo

Fandabbydaisy · 05/08/2024 06:31

Eben and Gable or Grey I’m not keen on Hart. As it makes me think of the surname. They are all quite out there names which I think is trickier with boys than girls.

TartanJambo · 05/08/2024 06:34

😬. Hope this isn't real

gerispringer · 05/08/2024 06:39

All terrible.

noronightmare85 · 05/08/2024 06:57

Honestly you will get soooo much attention out and about with a pair of sweet twin boys, it's a bit like being famous with the number of strangers who stop you in the street. Your twin boys will be 'enough' as they are without wild names. Just normal names are nice too and they can totally still be cool and unique people as they grow up

Tinytigertail · 05/08/2024 07:00

Sounds like you are choosing names from a Farrow & Ball paint chart.

ladycarlotta · 05/08/2024 11:10

I can only think you are a teenager writing Wattpad fiction. Some of these are nice (I love Ivo) but taken together this is all very try-hard.

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 05/08/2024 11:19

Caster and Pollux
Tom and Jerry
Cloak and Dagger
Knife and Fork

I'll stop now.

I don’t think there’s anything too wacky about Ivo and Roscoe, and they sit well together: one short, one long but a sort of assonant companionship between them. I know some of each and never thought how massively weird or attention-seeking. They arent my choice of name because I feel they are the kind of “ something no one uses” attempts that tend to date. But people do use them and they are proper names - and quite nice I think.

The problem with twins is the unusualness gets compounded a bit - which is why I’d leave Inigo which I otherwise quite like. It’s a proper name.

The rest found like surnames or just made up to me.

Rainyaprilmonday · 05/08/2024 12:23

Penny is just unkind.
Of the others, I like Inigo
Hale and Gray sounds like a description of my granddad
Caledon and Tennyson would work if your surname was Street or Rhodes...

JazbayGrapes · 07/08/2024 00:25

Roscoe and Ivo are about ok. The rest just awful.

Roscoe and Ivo are about ok. The rest just awful.

That’s what I’d go for too OP. I think they sound quite good together.

Ponkpinkpink15 · 07/08/2024 00:34

I don't think you can beat the more traditional names.

bill & ben

lemarr · 12/08/2024 01:22

Are we just making names up these days?

mathanxiety · 12/08/2024 02:22

Emerica and Omri is a nice pair.

Penny and Roscoe are two labradors.

mathanxiety · 12/08/2024 02:23

Hale and Gray comes across as a comparison.

One hale, the other possibly down for the count.
