Hey everyone, we're really struggling with names and would love some opinions. We're set on Margaret as a middle name.

Our top three at the moment are:
Vanessa Margaret
Nina Margaret
Zoe Margaret

Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

There's an Elizabeth Margaret in the family ... she gets called Elma which I think it lovely.

I love Margaret. Can’t you just use it as a first name?

MrsSkylerWhite · 25/07/2024 11:43

Nina

or Emily?

I have a Catherine Margaret and she detests her middle name! She thinks it’s old fashioned and very boring! Her name is old fashioned as she is named after for great granny and her great great granny both who were Catherine Margaret.

Vanessa is the best. But then it is the name of a dear friend of mine who just died.
Seriously though its not popular and a very pretty name.

Millicent Margaret Amanda?

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 26/07/2024 19:55

Aunty Margaret? It has a familiar ring about it.

Oh actually, maybe that's just in our family. 🤔

Olivia Margaret
Elizabeth Margaret
Louisa Margaret
Alicia Margaret

I'm an Alison Margaret and a friend at school was Christine Margaret.

I used to detest it but I like that's it's bit more unique that lots of people having the likes of Louise or Marie (which I would have killed for as a teenager)

Theoldwoman · 27/07/2024 00:01

Nina Margaret

OooPourUsACupLove · 27/07/2024 00:15

Jennifer Margaret

I think a symmetrical pattern of syllables flows better than short + long.

Also one of my favourite people is called Jennifer Margaret waves at Jen

2024mustbebetter · 27/07/2024 00:19

I would go with 3 syllables such as Emily Margaret - Em for short.

peribaddreams · 27/07/2024 00:28

Tessa Margaret ❤️

Italiangreyhound · 27/07/2024 00:30
