Husband is Greek, I’m English. We live in the UK but are likely to move to Greece at some point. Baby due soon, don’t know the sex, and we are so stuck for names - especially for a boy! I think I’m drawn to shorter names for boys, and Greek names can be very long.

I like Thanos, but I’m worried about the Marvel connection. I’m not into Marvel at all. Do you think the connection makes this name unusable?

For girls, we quite like Penelope, Persephone and Xanthe.

Suggestions for either sex would be gratefully received!

I know a Greek Kalliope (Poppy), Eleni, Eirini, Lina, Marilena. All super pretty names.

Also like Korina (like Corinna) but it isn’t much used… your DH will have views on that one way or another

Thanassis is another diminutive of the same name? How about that?
