Baby brother of Amelie

I am due in November with baby #2 - a boy this time! We haven’t found a name that either of us love. Please help!

Our first born is named Amelie Violet and we fell in love with the name as soon as we heard it. Technically, I had the name lined up since before I was pregnant but boy names just haven’t been the same.

The middle name will be William (family tradition).

Before I read your list Theo popped in my head so that was a bit weird but I gave a James and I love it even more now than the day I chose it.

I just came here to suggest something vaguely french sounding. Louis? Hugo?

Both Theo or James work well - although my preference is for James as the more classic name, Theo feels more French style to match Amelie.

Arlo feels very trendy to me and is not my cup of tea.

Names like Henry, Leo, Louis, Lucas, Noah, Hugo, Gabriel, Arthur, Adam etc might be worth considering too as they are either French heritage or popular in France currently.

Wow! What a coincidence!! 😂 William James is lovely. William is my partner’s name and he doesn’t fancy having the same first name. What were the names list you had for your William? We seem to have a similar (or the same) taste for names 😂
