Boys names, sibling help!

We have a Rupert and are expecting another little boy THIS MONTH and need name help! We knew we wanted Rupert for our first born as soon as we knew he was a boy and even had things embroidered with his name on etc before he was born. This time round though we can't find a name that feels like it has clicked the same way! Please help.

I love Oscar but it's too popular for my liking. Same with Arthur and Henry. Love them but would prefer something not in the top 10 at least.

We both love Robin but think it's too similar to Rupert?

Hi Can I ask how old is your Rupert? And if at school has he had any bullying issues? I’m really keen on this name, but I am worried about bullying especially as our newborn is also mixed race - and fear in the English country side this will also make him a target.

He'll be 7 months now!

Some great suggestions from PP, really like Felix and Tristan- but if I were you I'd definitely go for Robin. It's a great boy's name and not too similar to Rupert.

Just seen that this is a zombie thread. Did it say what OP went for?

Hugo. Rupert and Hugo seem a natural pairing to me. Or Sebastian or Miles. None are my own personal taste - but imo all share the style of elegant sounding names that were previously seen as mostly upper class or “posh” only, but have now made it into the general Top 100 just like Rupert (but still aren’t as popular as classics like Arthur, Henry, Alexander etc- those are much more my cup of tea but I understand being hesitant).

I don’t hate your list (apart from Orson) but I don’t love it either - well, I do love Atticus but it’s very unusual compared to Rupert, (as is many of the rest of your list to be fair). I suppose if I had to pick one of them to pair best with Rupert, it would be Albert - but it is retro trendy and it also depends on how you feel about them having the same ending sound.
