I like Charlotte or Sophie. Not fan of Jennifer, but it's fine name. I voted for Charlotte.

Liv999 · 06/07/2024 16:31

Charlotte for me too its gorgeous, but Sophie and Jennifer are nice too

SkaneTos · 06/07/2024 16:31

They are all lovely names!
I voted for Jennifer, it is quite unusual among little girls now, I think.

Lorelaigilless · 06/07/2024 16:32

Sophie and Charlotte and lovely. Jennifer is awful.

Ellmau · 06/07/2024 16:33

Jennifer's a bit dated now. Charlotte and Sophie are classics.

Have always liked Jennifer as a name.

BoleynMemories13 · 06/07/2024 16:42

Jennifer isn't for me. If it will be shortened to Jenna it's just about ok but if she's inevitably going to be Jenny it's awfully dated.

Sophie is ok but I prefer Charlotte. It suffered abit of a lull in the late 00s/early 2010s but Princess Charlotte is so sassy, I think she's made the name cool again.

JimNast · 06/07/2024 17:06

They're all nice. In terms of preference - Sophie, Charlotte then Jennifer, but Sophia is so overpopular it puts me off Sophie. I'm not keen on Charlie or Lottie and I know lots of Charlottes.

I only know 2 Jennifers. One is always Jennifer, and the other one is Jenny.
I don't like Jenna at all.
Jennifer seems a good choice to me.

Justme68 · 06/07/2024 18:15

I Ike Sophie my Dd is Sophie

LlynTegid · 06/07/2024 18:15

Jennifer gets abbreviated too often, prefer Charlotte of the other two.

JimNast · 06/07/2024 18:28

I forgot Jen. I've only ever heard her be called Jen; presumably she's Jennifer.

Sophies get Soph and Charlotte gets shortened too.

Fink · 06/07/2024 18:39

Charlotte is my favourite. Sophie is nice enough but nothing special. I really don't like Jennifer. I agree with pp that Jennifer sounds less classic and more dated.

Moreteaandchocolate · 06/07/2024 19:27

I voted for Jennifer, it sounds so fresh and different for this generation 😊 I like all your ideas though.

bakewellbride · 06/07/2024 19:33

My dd is Charlotte so that's my vote! You need to be on board with the potential of Lottie or Charlie too

Rocknrollstar · 06/07/2024 20:34

jennifer/Jenny because it is the more unusual

pambeesleyhalpert · 06/07/2024 20:38

Sophie

SpikyCoconut · 06/07/2024 20:44

Jennifer lovely but dated. However perhaps a comeback wouldn't be bad?
Charlotte-nope, but I'm biased having known a fair few awful ones
Sophie-a close second. I do think it more 'girly' and wishy-washy than Jennifer but that's perhaps personal opinion.

abracadabra1980 · 06/07/2024 20:57

I like all of them and their associated shortened versions of Lottie, Soph or Jen/Jenny!

RumATumTum · 06/07/2024 23:40

I voted Charlotte because it can be shortened to Lottie. I also like Charlotte’s Web.

Sophie is nice.

Jennifer is a definite no from me. That awful J-Lo song comes to mind “I’m still Jenny from the block”. Don’t care much for the shortened version of Jen either.

Jennifer is still a lovely name, even though it's not been so popular for this generation. Jenny is nice too. I know it will come back sooner or later.

Sophie and Charlotte are lovely too. Have to say that I prefer Sophie overall.

PurpleWhiteGreen123 · 07/07/2024 00:54

Charlotte is having a moment because of Bridgerton and because there's Princess Charlotte too.

I have a Sophie she's nearly 18 and sometimes people call her Soph which reminds me of soap for some reason.

Jennifer is quite 80s. I think it's a bit early for a renaissance yet.

Justme68 · 22/08/2024 18:32

i have a Sophie shes 32☺️

WhenWillItAllGetBetter · 22/08/2024 22:39

Jennifer by a country mile. The other two are very boring. You can guarantee she’ll be the only Jennifer in her peer group and super cool too!

Firebird83 · 23/08/2024 23:52

Jennifer. Jenny would be so cute for a little girl.
