Clara ~ lovely, really like this
Sienna, nn Cece # sorry, not keen at all and Cece is usually a shortened version of Cecilia
Kaia ~ not keen and would cause problems with spelling and pronunciation
Ines ~ not sure
Lena (leh-na) ~ OK
Hazel # yes, really nice
Lila ~ lovely
Tessa ~ lovely
Flora ~ OK
Maya (mi-ya) ~ I think you would have problems with this spelling and your chosen pronunciation

If you are going to have a 2nd name I would choose from

Clara Hazel
Lila Hazel
Tessa Hazel
Hazel Lila

NoSnowdrop · 23/06/2024 20:55

Tessa is really unusual these days and quite lovely.

Hazel is super popular but a great name.

Flora is really lovely too. A nice summer name.

Elfbeth · 23/06/2024 20:57

I’d avoid these due to differing pronouciations:

Kaia
Lena (leh-na)
Lila
Maya (mi-ya)

Hazel and Tessa are my favourites from the rest of the selection

KirstenBlest · 23/06/2024 20:57

Clara - not keen
Sienna, nn Cece - not keen on Sienna, Cece is awful
Kaia - ok but there are nicer names
Ines - like., needs an accent on the e.
Lena (leh-na) Ley-na or Lenna?
Hazel - fine
Lila - dislike
Tessa - like
Flora - like
Maya (mi-ya) - ??? did you mean My-ah or Mia? don't like it anyway

sparrowling · 23/06/2024 21:01

Sorry I meant Maya as in My-ah pronunciation

I have a real soft spot for Tessa, and love Tess

17caterpillars1mouse · 23/06/2024 21:20

Clara - I think it's a lovely name a whimsical feel and I don't actually know a single child named Clara

Sienna, nn Cece - there are two in my daughters class and both are a bit 'naughty' - they are 5 so not really hut a bit of a handful / not the kindest so I associate it with that personality type. I also think Cece sounds stuck up

Kaia - not a fan at all

Ines - beautiful

Lena (leh-na) - there are also two Lena's in my daughters class but thet are alot nicer. Not my style though and there are alot of L nanes about lately

Hazel - i like it but wonder if its on the up quite quickly and thus will date. Ive been hearing it alot ovee rge past 2 years

Lila - she will get lost in a sea of Layla's, Leia's, Leila's, Lyra's, Lena's etc

Tessa - like but I prefer just Tess

Flora - pretty

Maya (mi-ya) - similar issue with the L names, there seems to be a lot of Mia, Myla, Maya, Mila's about and then all blend in to one

urbanbuddha · 23/06/2024 21:22

Hazel, Ines or Tessa are my favourites.

Moreteaandchocolate · 23/06/2024 21:26

Clara - Love!! One of my favourite ever names
Sienna, nn Cece - like Sienna, dislike CeCe
Kaia - like
Ines - like (poss spelling pronunciation issues)
Lena (leh-na) - like
Hazel- like a lot
Lila - love
Tessa - like a lot
Flora - like
Maya (mi-ya) - like a lot

Top two are Clara and Lila for me, with Tessa, Maya and Hazel as runners up, but they’re all nice names - good luck choosing!

hlc123 · 23/06/2024 21:45

Lila and Flora are lovely

ToffeenutLatte · 23/06/2024 21:46

Flora and Tessa are my favourites by a mile.
Quite like Kaia and Ines.
Not at all keen on Clara. It always sounds a bit clunky to me.
The rest are nice but I know dogs (and a few kids) with these names who I see often and the association is too strong.

Brukli · 23/06/2024 21:48

I like Kaia, Lila and Lena best. Not too fussy, but pretty.

Really dislike Flora (prissy) and Sienna (bit low rent).

I like Cece but would choose a different full name. Cecelia?

ScruffMuffin · 23/06/2024 22:02

Ines is unusual and pretty. Gets my vote. Followed by Maya.

RidlayBlue · 23/06/2024 22:02

Clara - not my personal taste but a nice name
Sienna, nn Cece - like Sienna, don't like the nn
Kaia - not my personal taste
Ines - like
Lena (leh-na) - like
Hazel - like
Lila - like
Tessa - not heard this for a while and really like it
Flora - not my personal taste
Maya (mi-ya) - like

Muddysockchase · 23/06/2024 22:14

Tessa is best I think - middle name Hazel.

ZippyKoala · 23/06/2024 22:22

Feels like three groups of names here...
Clara, Hazel, Tessa, Flora. Not to my taste personally but nice names anyway. Less common these days (maybe?) but well known as names. Can't go wrong.

Then the more unusual and possibly divisive ones?
Kaia & Ines I really love.
Lena, Lila, Maya not so sure maybe, but if you like them sure.
Personally not a fan of Sienna or Cece but I see several people are!

Just pick what you love :)

shoopshoopdedoo · 23/06/2024 23:00

Love Lena
Really like Ines
Lile Lila

Dislike Kaia and Sienna

Others are OK

BlueSkyMoth · 23/06/2024 23:36

Clara - I think it's had it's moment and will sound dated fast. I think it's one of those vintage names that just sounds a bit drab, like Eliza.
Sienna, nn Cece - Ok, though I'm not keen on Cece.
Kaia - No, insubstantial, not sure of pronunciation.
Ines - like
Lena (leh-na) - ok, but loads of short L names around at the moment - Lyra, Lola, Lila etc.
Hazel - Beautiful
Lila - pretty, but see above
Tessa - Tess is lovely
Flora - no - butter, twee. Fleur is pretty though.
Maya (mi-ya) - overdone.

user1492757084 · 24/06/2024 07:08

Inspired from your list ..

Tess Lila
Clara Cicely - Cece
Celia Tess
Hazel Maya

yikesanotherbooboo · 24/06/2024 07:11

Tessa is my favourite with Clara second.
Hazel and Flora have similar style , to me, but I like them less.
The other names are a bit insubstantial for my taste.

Mumofgirls2017 · 24/06/2024 17:58

Clara and flora are lovely 😊

vtisailor · 24/06/2024 19:35

Brukli · 23/06/2024 21:48

Edited

Comedycook · 24/06/2024 19:37

Clara old lady
Sienna, nn Cece. Love
Kaia. Really dislike
Ines love
Lena (leh-na) love
Hazel frumpy
Lila very nice
Tessa frumpy
Flora not keen
Maya. Nice but too popular

PrincessCordelia · 24/06/2024 19:39

Imo 3,4&5 I wouldn’t know how to pronounce so your child may have a lifetime of people saying it wrong if you go for those. Just a consideration tho that’s a nice list : )

Sundaysunshine21 · 24/06/2024 20:17

Clara - I like this but it is quite popular at the moment I think so it depends whether that bothers you.
Sienna, nn Cece - I really like Sienna not keen on Cece personally. As with Clara Sienna is popular but not as classic as Clara so might not date well.
Kaia - personally I love this, but agree with others that you’d get pronunciation issues.
Ines - nice and unusual.
Lena (leh-na) - like this.
Hazel - nothing wrong with it, just not to my taste.
Lila - nice.
Tessa - nice and unusual but classic at the same time.
Flora - nice.
Maya (mi-ya) - nice but very popular.
