Love the name Lily, we've liked it for a long time as I like that it's flower related and also has family connections.
I'm not put off by how popular it is, but just wanted to get people's opinions and similar suggestions.
Also middle name suggestions (would love the middle name to start with an S but that's not essential, just want to see some nice combinations)

I think you're right with this. I've said a few out loud and it definitely flows better with 3 syllables

I'd be thinking more about how Lily goes with the surname. Middle names aren't used much, and usually if they are the whole name is used.

My dd is Lily Evelyn.
My DH picked her middle name and I wasn't fussed at first but now love it.

Lily Evelyn is lovely!
