Hi,

really struggling to name our 2nd daughter. We like classic names but I don’t want something that’s super common.

2 that are on the shortlist are Poppy and Tabitha but my partner isn’t set on either of those enough to commit.

For me Poppy and Tabitha are different genres.

Poppy belongs to Daisy, Milly, Rosie, Ella, Holly, etc.

Tabitha belongs to Mathilda, Gabriella, Leonora, Marina, etc.

Poppy is very generic and boring, Tabitha is unique and great. Completely different vibes to be. I'd say people who like poppy would like Evie, Elsie, Gracie, Isla etc and people who like Tabitha like Beatrix, Aurora, juniper

Not Poppy then- it’s not classic imo and is fairly popular now. Tabitha is pretty and underused and a bit more classic. Classic but underused now imo would be names like:
