I’m currently pregnant with a baby girl, however it is known that she’s not going to live longer then a day. My pregnancy has been diagnosed with osteogenesis (which if you don’t know is a genetic condition which causes her body not to build up strong bones.) Naming her has been extremely challenging, as before we found out about her condition we had the name Eloise set for her however Eloise means ‘healthy’ and the idea of naming our baby Eloise knowing she’s not going to be healthy does not sit right with either of us.
We already have a stillborn baby girl named Esmé Jean as well as our only earthside baby girl Luna Mae. We’re not bothered about their names being too matchy, and I’d honestly prefer for her name to match Esmé better with the two of them being our angel girls.
We don’t have a ton of names down but so far we have, Mabel (I like the idea of having three girls all with some sort of Mae/May connection), Skye, Ocean and Elara.
