Not so keen on Ayla, makes me think of “ailing”. But I like Layla.

I used to really dislike Wren, until I met the seeetest little girl with that name, and now I have possible associations with it!

I have a Lyla and she gets compliments about her name all the time.

I also love Ettie, who is one of her school friends.

Like Ayla least. Lyra nicer than Lyla. And nicer than Lulu. Lola superb in comparison to Lyla.

Not Wren, it’s so trendy at the moment and will date badly. It’s also lovely written down but when it’s spoken- not so nice! Ren, as in Ren and Stimpy. The idea and the look of it are so lovely compared with what the actual sound is.
