Trying to decide on our second boy:

Want one of these:
David
Ronan

But which one!! First son is Freddie...

Ronan

LoubyLou92 · 04/05/2024 14:16

Out of the two I prefer Ronan, but I don’t think either work great with Freddie 😩 they seem like different styles to me.

ILikePistachios · 04/05/2024 14:20

I like both but if I had to choose, David

DisplayPurposesOnly · 04/05/2024 14:23

David (abbreviated to Davy if you like).

RedRobyn2021 · 04/05/2024 14:35

I like Ronan

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 04/05/2024 14:44

David is a lovely name. Goes well with Freddie.Good choice.

IDontLoveTheWayYouLie · 04/05/2024 14:45

Ronan is the nicer name but I think David works better with Freddie, they're both older names.

Glitterbiscuits · 04/05/2024 14:48

David.

TheCultureHusks · 04/05/2024 14:49

I don’t think I could quite get behind Freddie and Dave 😬

Moreteaandchocolate · 04/05/2024 16:10

David is my favourite, a lovely underused classic.

SkaneTos · 04/05/2024 17:24

They are both good names!

Barleysugar86 · 04/05/2024 17:25

David is a beautiful classic name. I think it goes best with Freddie.

stopringingme · 04/05/2024 17:55

David

JimNast · 04/05/2024 18:30

David.

W0rkerBee · 04/05/2024 18:33

David goes better with Freddie imo

Tinytigertail · 04/05/2024 18:34

Another vote for David.

Amx · 04/05/2024 20:50

Fred and Dave Grin

GardenGnomeDefender · 04/05/2024 21:44

Ronan seems more unique.

AdaColeman · 04/05/2024 21:51

David! A great name!

shannnxo · 05/05/2024 16:22

Ronan

Sunshineclouds11 · 05/05/2024 16:23

Ronan

Or Rowan

JimNast · 05/05/2024 17:30

What puts me off Ronan is I associate it with Keating, and I think Ronan would spend a lot of time saying 'Ronan not Roman/Rowan'

TheCultureHusks · 05/05/2024 20:25

Rory and Freddie
Ronnie and Freddie
Ralph (Rafe) and Freddie

NetMum2 · 06/05/2024 06:21

David

Junebug22 · 06/05/2024 06:29

Ronan is lovely. I would’ve gone with it (Irish grandparents on both sides) but my husband wasn’t a fan of anything Irish. “Ro” is also a cute nickname.
