I like rose we are having it as a middle name if dc2 is a girl.

I have a slight lisp so we had to avoid names with r's in them. I used to work with a woman whose son couldn't say r's and his name was Raoul Richard! Poor kid.

I think Rosa and Eva are gorgeous but she may grow up being linguistically challenged like me!!! (although I'm sure she won't)

I like them all, my friend just called hers Eva so I can't call my expectant baby that if it turns out to be a girl. Boo hoo. My DD wants to call the baby Rosie if it's a girl or a boy!

Rosa's the nicest.

Eva is very pretty - Rosa always makes me think of matronly italian ladies - like the one in Fireman Sam!

Rose - pretty and very English
Rosa - reminds of Portuguese cleaning ladies
Eva - pretty and very Scandinavian

I love Eva. One of my best friends is called Rosaria so I'm quite partial to Rosa too.

all lovely, but I like Rose the best.
Eva seems really popular round my way at the moment, if that kind of thing bothers you (not that it should!).

All are lovely. Rose and Rosa are less common than Evie/Eva which are enjoying a lot of populatity at present.

If I was going to be finiky, I like the simplicity of Rose, as in English Rose. Rosa Klebb did come to mind which is not enough to put me off the name and the version to choose if you have Italian roots, otherwise Rose imo.

DD has the middle name Rose (after my Mum)
