As the title says. DH is Irish, I am English. Our daughter has a subtle Irish name which is easily spelt and pronounced. Would really like to follow the same pattern but we are really struggling.
We both like Finley but close friends sons name so cannot use it.
Open to suggestions.
Thank you

Cormac, Conal, Ronan, Fintan and Aidan are all cool names.

Eoghan.

Not really, no-one outside Ireland would know that was pronouced Oh-un.

Just loved Harry Hills TV burp earliy 2000s when Eoghan was on the x- factor and Harry was pronouncing it phonetically. Ee-og-un Quigg!!!!

As Saorise Ronan said in an interview 'lots of vowels in some Irish names but you don't pronounce any of them' lol..

I really liked the name Connell in normal people. I've never seen it used as a first name in Ireland, it seems like a variation in Conal which is even easier to spell. I also like Conan, Cormac and Arthur. I was going to suggest Finn until I saw the end of your post!

I’m here to add my vote to Seamus, though I am biased as our DS is Seamus nn Shay. I’m Irish and DH is English and we live in England and it works well here.

Lots of great Irish names there but I love the name Niall and it is not that common.
Also like Rory, Brendan, Cahal.

Ciaran
