So I found out today there’s a boy in a young relatives class whose actual name is Peculiar! Why on earth would someone do this to a child. He has a brother with an equally awful name too. 😳

I knew a similar chap once by the name of Comfort. Surname Golightly!

Innocent is a name from early Christianity. Iirc there were a few early popes who chose this name. It's found in Orthodox Christiality too, with the Russian version being Innokentiy.

DS2’s has a huge support worker, who was born in Zimbabwe, called Precious. I think it’s lovely.

And another one called Desire. Took a bit of getting used to, but I like it now.
