Rafay for a boy?

Boy name dilemma - Rafay?

Yay or Nay?

DH pronounces it as Raf-ae but I think it’s better as Raf-ay (as the spelling).

I don’t want to condemn him to a life of mispronunciation, what do you think?

You could just use it and call him Raff day to day -

I have a (Muslim) friend who spells it Rafey. I really like it. Can’t believe people are so knee-jerky about names with a different cultural background. Should all British kids have British/European names?
