Do sibling names need to match?

My two DS have traditional names but expecting third and we like more unusual names for girls. We quite like the name Saffron
Would it be strange to have something unusual with the other two children having traditional names

personally I'd go with something more like Charlotte, Harriet, Elizabeth, Catherine etc.

I don't think Saffron fits with your boys names very well, but it's not completely jarring like Twinkle, Apple, Sky, or the like.

Does it work for you, can you imagine standing in a playground calling for them all?

Yes, I agree with this.

I’m going to go against the grain here and say that I find it odd when siblings names are completely different styles. For example Elizabeth, Harriet & Tyson.

I agree with this.

Every time I see Topsy and Tim I think of Dave Gorman's line about them coming from completely different shelves in the name shop. I have also thought this about siblings in real life too.

Matching as in Jack & Jill or Tim & Tom? No, definitely not. Your children will spend most of their life as independent adults.

Saffron is a lovely name.
