I like Ayla, Posy, Skye, Adelaide, Maeve and Indie... I would not choose Ayda - even if you change the spelling, people will still think and pronounce Aida.
My favorite out of your list is Ayla, then Posy and Indie.
Good luck

Your children have lovely names - very classic and elegant

I think you might be struggling because a lot of the names on this list aren’t really distinguished in the same way?

Adelaide is lovely. I also like Adela.

Constance nn Connie or Gwendoline / Winifred nn Winnie are both nice, but not as full names

Maeve is nice enough

The rest are very nothingy and I would dump them

Other ideas
Alicia
Annalise / Annalisa
Ida
Iona
Isla
Ianthe
Zoe
Phoebe
Chloe
Verity
Cecily
Rose / Rosa / Rosanna (Posy as a baby nn)
Jasmine
Natalia / Natasha - nice for a dark eyed near Christmas baby
Flora
Stella / Estella
Cecily
Jessamy
Violet / Viola

Indie stands out to me but I think it's because then you have two girls starting with i and two boys starting with a!

MissyB1 · 03/12/2023 14:35

From your list I love Posy & Maeve. Other suggestions

Celia
Phillipa
Seren
Mary

RadRad · 03/12/2023 14:41

Love Raya,it means "from paradise" in a slavic language.

dontforgetme · 03/12/2023 14:47

I LOVE Skye.

peaceinourtime · 03/12/2023 14:49

Adelaide or Raya from your list

Marcipex · 03/12/2023 14:53

Not Ayla. There’s so many similar names including Ayla pronounced Ay la and Ayla pronounced the same as Isla(whyyy?)
I think Adelaide will be shortened to Addy.

What about Florence? Clemency? Sasha?

jays · 03/12/2023 14:59

Adelaide is beautiful.

shakeitoffsis · 03/12/2023 15:07

Ayla. I'm biased as I have an Ayla but I get so many compliments on it as they isn't many! Raya was another favourite of ours, along with Maeva.

MerryChristmasToYou · 03/12/2023 15:12

Connie - yes
Winnie - yes

Lily yes
Skye- ok
Ada - ok
Posy - a bit twee
Lillie - no.
Ayda - same as Ayla. Ada is a lot better
Ayla - no, seems nothingy and don't like the Ay bit
Raya (Ray - Uh) - ray of sunshine. No
Adelaide - no
Maeve - no
Indie - no

ASuitableName · 03/12/2023 15:13

Ailsa is nice, I have only ever met one

MaloneMeadow · 03/12/2023 15:16

Winnie, Lillie, Skye & Posy are all awful - wet, frilly and overly childish. Alright for a dog but definitely not a little girl

Out of your list I adore Maeve & quite like Raya too. Adelaide is nice, the one I know goes by Addy. It would be a bit odd though for you to have 3 kids with names beginning with A and then just having the odd one out with an I!

Indie is nice as a nickname for India. Definitely wouldn’t use it as a full name

MerryChristmasToYou · 03/12/2023 15:23

I think the names are too different from Isabella, which is long and pretty.
Do you shorten Isabella?

Ailsa is nice. It doesn't have the 'Ay' that I find ugly and the 's' gives it a bit more substance. Isla is pretty but very popular

CuttingAllTheFlowersStill · 03/12/2023 15:55

I like Constance/Connie from your list. Sounds traditional like your other names but not too samey.

Mumofgirls2017 · 03/12/2023 16:39

Connie or Winnie nice with your others. Isabella, Arthur, Archie and…

ivy
penny
ida
rose
clara
esme
edith
evie
elsie
eliza
florence
molly
violet
grace
olivia
harriet

Strawberrycheesecake7 · 03/12/2023 16:45

I wouldn’t use an A name personally because then Isabella will be the odd one out. I like Maeve and Skye.

UsingChangeofName · 03/12/2023 16:48

I wouldn't use another A name.

I would use Constance as a full name - more in keeping with your other dd - and she will naturally become Connie for everyday.

I don't like any of the others on your list, but Connie is nice.

GoodVibesHere · 03/12/2023 16:52

Penelope (Penny)

Doublebiscuit77 · 03/12/2023 16:59

Connie, Adelaide, Skye and Lillie are the nicest.

Other suggestions:
Madeleine
Imogen (Immie)
Emmy
Nancy
Tamsin (Tammy)
Karla
Lydia
Pippa (Philippa)
Faye
Layla

bohemianmullet · 03/12/2023 16:59

I like Connie, Maeve, Adelaide best. I like Addy. Or Della? Adelaide could be Aida too. Someone said Gwendolen. Love this too though would shorten to Gwen not Winnie.

Catandsquirrel · 03/12/2023 17:01

Adelaide is fabulous.

Posy on it's own or short for Josephine? I love Josephine so would say 'yes' to that even if Posy isn't to my taste.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 03/12/2023 19:03

I'd say Indie or India a bit nicer. That way your sons names both start with A and your girls names with I.
Other I name suggestions. Ivy. Imogen. Imelda. Iris.

ChildrenOfTheQuorn · 03/12/2023 23:08

Adelaide (Ada) or Constance (Connie) for me.

user1492757084 · 04/12/2023 11:04

Isabella, Arthur, Archie and ..
Rebecca
Louisa
Catriona
Gretel
