saint - stripper name - either that or a religious maniac - also what a thing for your daughter to live up to
saskia - lovely

I’d go with Saskia - but Serena, Sabrina or Sanchia might be others

trent - sounds like a local authority
teddy - popular but a bit toddlery
tyson - not my taste

sapphire - not my taste
saint - is it a name?

Teddy - nice for a young boy but will be too childish when he’s older

Sapphire - porn star name, how about Saffron nn. Saffie?

Teddy isn't my style but I really dislike the other two boy's choices so I vote for that by default.

Likewise Saskia wins by default for me. Saint is truly terrible. It's not a name, and not in the least bit feminine. I'd assume try-hard celeb wannabe. Agree that Saffron is a nice alternative to Sapphire (which does have stripper vibes) as you can still get the nickname Saffy.

You are clearly drawn to T boy names and S girl names. What about the following:-

I have an uncle Teddy in his 70s so it’s never seemed like a toddler name to me. He was a boxer in his youth and quite ruggish

Saskia is ok. I’m not a fan of the other girl name choices. Consider names like Sage or Sirena pronounced sir-ren-a. For the boys names Teddy has been done to death, Trent and Tyson are also ok.

Saskia is nice. Theodore or Edward give you Teddy as a nickname and both are classic names. Saint is only ok as part of the boys name StJohn (pronounced Sinjun) and that’s a posh whopper of a name for a kid to
manage. Tyson sounds like a dog name (given by someone who wants his dog to be ‘well hard’). Trent Isn’t all that bad but it depends on your surname. Sapphire - I’m old so I guess I’d think of 80s crime fighting duo Sapphire and Steel!

Girls - Saskia is nice and I don't mind Sapphire. But Saint , you must be joking right?

So that’s my dp list. We know what baby is and we have a name I just wanted to show him I’m not mean on not budging with my stance of no way and that these names are not fantastic!

I vote Trent as big Nine Inch Nails fan and it's not common. There are too many Teddys and Tyson is a chavvy name for a bulldog.

Sapphire is a bit romance novel.
Saskia sounds like someone with a lisp.
Forgotten the other one.

Other than Saskia the rest sound like the four letter word that begins with c and ends in v style of names.

It was a no for all those names 🤣 some suggested names on here are lovely but I had a name I was set on and was open to compromising untill I was presented with that list 🤣🤣
