Can't believe I'm posting on baby names thread, but here goes...

Dp and me really like the name Megan and are thinking that we might make it into a double first name (like mary-lou, sarah-jane etc). I was wondering whether any of you fine ladies could come up with anything which goes with it?

my dear neice is megan and its lovely just on its own - is there a reason you think it needs something else added on? I'm a double barrel and have to say its not been the joy of my life having 2 names!!

oh please don't make it into a hyphenated name

It is pretty on it's own and I think hyphenated names are awful and chavvy

Our DS would have been Megan. Second name was undecided, but list included Rose, Clare and Grace. We weren't intending to make it a double first name tho.

Megan is lovely on its own, why double barrell it?

I am afraid that in my honest opinion double first names sound rather naff.

dizzy - firstly this is spooky I am a double barrel as well I don't like my name and hate having to spell it or people automatically shorten it without asking even when I say my name is SL they shorten it to S straight away. So I'm not a fan of double barrels either.

I think Megan is lovely on it's own maybe have a middle name instead am liking Amy, Rose, Erin
