Didn't particularly want as fussy a name as Romilly but we needed up loving and just going for it three and a half years ago.
Now expecting girl 2 in January - any ideas welcome, doesn't have to be as rare though not eg top 50 and quite drawn to 'a' ending names this time around.
List including some we can't use as have a lot of nieces:

Juniper
Olive
Pippa (know about Italian swear words)
Hilda
Thea
Esther
Adelaide
Lara
Frieda/which spelling
Willa
Maeva

Any thoughts and other suggestions so welcome. Think we originally got the name Romilly from MN nearly 5 years ago when TTC so thanks again!

Annabel. It's the first one I thought of.

Romiley and Wren is my favourite suggestion I've seen here.

Juniper is lovely with Romilly and on its own.
I Also like Lara, Willa and Pippa from your list. Please don’t call her Hilda when her sister has such a beautiful name!

I think some PPs haven't spotted that list shows the names you can't use.

I'm offering up Beatrice, Esther, Stella, Iris and Ione.

@DigbyTheDigger I thought that but it was a bit confusing.

‘List including some we can't use as have a lot of nieces…Any thoughts and other suggestions so welcome’.

It’s not clear (although I’m unwell and maybe it’s my brain!).

Ooh, maybe you're right and I have the wrong end of the stick. OP, set us right!

Juniper - not a fan as I just think of gin
Olive - love it and like shortening Oli and Liv / Livvy

Pippa (know about Italian swear words) - really pretty. The swear word thing doesn't bother me at all

Hilda - its ok, a bit witchy. Not sure it goes greatly with Romilly. Have you considered Ingrid or Zelda? I feel they have similar vibes

Thea - ok. I know loads though, not sure where it charts currently but it wouldnt surprise me if it will soon be in the top 50

Esther - pretty. I like Essie as a nn

Adelaide - lovely. I also really love Adeline

Lara - my favourite of the L names about, although Lorelei is lovely too and I quite like Lyra. Zara us nice too

Frieda/which spelling - not a fan
Willa - ok, will probably blend in with the sea of Willows though

Maeva - like Maeve (though it seems to be having a bit of a moment) but not so keen on Maeva

A few other suggesrions:

Romilly and Bridget
Romilly and Natasha
Romilly and Kirsten
Romilly and Agnes
Romilly and Lois
