Marsh for a boy

I have thought this was quite a nice name for a while and it is probably my favourite for a boy, however my sister is not a fan and said something about "bad imagery" or something so I wanted to see what everyone else thought.

And Kelsier for his brother?

Noo, sorry but your sister is right, it's not great. And Marshall is dated in an American kind of way.

Strangely, Marsha for a girl seems a lot better. Or could be spelled Marcia (although in the UK that's usually pronounced as mar-see-a).

Marsh if not said correctly or said quickly sounds like mush. That's before you factor in swamp.
