we have been desperately trying to come up with potential boy names. i'm due in beg june. we already have 1 ds, named Dylan (obviously! dh came up with name in delivery room after bob dylan which i didn't work out until later). we don't know the sex of this baby but have basically decided on Bronwyn for a girl (we have a couple back ups as well).

for a boy though - we just completely disagree. the only common name we've come up with so far is Sebastian (Seb) but neither of us love it.

as an idea - dh likes Winston (been pushing for that since ds), Mortimer (Morty), Leroy. these are NEVER going to happen! i like things like Caden, Tristan, Nate, Griffon, Lachlan. he hates all those.

we need to find something traditional but not too common. Dylan really suits his name but i hear it called out to boys everywhere we go! i feel like i've read every baby name site on the web. please help!!!

has same issue with naming my DS2 with DH desperately wanting Paddy. Given DH is Irish I don't need to explain why I was majorly against it. I ended up just waiting until after DS2 was born at which point DH was so grateful and happy to have his healthy LO he became much more pliable on the name front.

sleepdeprived methinks you are spot on there. he did after all name ds1 (although i agreed of course) so i think if i just do my little shortlist when the baby comes i will be able to sway him for at least one of them!

Quinn?

I know a Mortimer. I think it's a fab name and the family in question are extremely hip so it's up and coming. What about Mo for Mortimer?
