Astrid &… ?

Need a boy name to go with it!

our last name is very common and one syllable (eg Jones)

need a Boy and a Girl name now.

pretty much set on Astrid for girl but struggling with a boy name…

I really like Edwin but DH is on the fence.
He likes Oliver but I’m not keen ( sweet but a bit boring IMO)
Etienne also an option but not sure it’s “the one”

we already have 2 DS both with names that are recognisable but not commonly heard and a little old fashioned (think Albert, Cecil… similar to these)

any suggestions?

I'm finding this one tricky, Astrid is a Norweigan Royal Family name, as well as being an illegitimate daughter of Aphrodite so it depends which way you were thinking. We're you thinking of another Norse name or Greek God style name?

If you use Astrid, you need something equally as weird. Your child probably won't thank you for using Astrid though.

Ahh I love Astrid! I think of Astrid Kircherrr, the Beatles early photographer. Her partner was one of John lennons best friends, Stuart Sutcliffe. How about Harrison?
