Thank you for all those who commented. We do like Juliet but just don't think it's right for us and with sibling name..
So today we went back over the long list and narrowed down to three.....
🩷 Athena Rose
🩷 Eliana Rose
🩷 Sofia Rose
Which do you like best?

Boys name will be Jacob Dawson. It has 2 very strong meanings for us. So it's definitely the right one 💙

Athena is beautiful. I think strong, elegant and adventurous.

While Sofia is pretty it's just so common now that it just feels really ordinary and low effort rather than lovely.

I like Eliana but much prefer Athena.

TomatoSandwiches · 08/09/2023 17:56

Athena Rose is the best of those choices.

KayEmAy · 08/09/2023 19:38

They are in my order of preference :)

RuthW · 08/09/2023 19:40

Love Eliana.

Love any 'arna' names

Somanycats · 08/09/2023 19:44

Athena is best of those, though I'm old enough to automatically think of the tennis poster.

PickledScrump · 08/09/2023 20:59

Eliana definitely.

Athena doesn’t sound nice to me and Sofia is everywhere

SkaneTos · 08/09/2023 21:07

I think all three of them are lovely!

Mrsjayy · 08/09/2023 21:09

I really like Eliana i would go with that.

Mrsjayy · 08/09/2023 21:10

If it was me*

Mrburnshound · 08/09/2023 21:10

Athena, i had that on my list!

0021andabit · 08/09/2023 21:10

They’re all beautiful names! My personal favourite is Eliana though, gorgeous.

Mrsjayy · 08/09/2023 21:15

I follow a girl on Fb her name is Aliana I just love her name.

LovelyBoy2023 · 08/09/2023 21:17

I like Eliana or Sofia. Athena is also the poster shop for me but I know an Athene which is pretty.

Barleysugar86 · 08/09/2023 21:19

Athena 100%. Lovely name.

Honestly I'm pretty bored with Rose (but middle name so I guess its not used all the time) and I'm really bored with Sophia/ Sofia (sorry) there are so many around- Sophie might be better?

babysharkdoodoodedoodedoo · 09/09/2023 02:29

Athena. Strongly dislike Eliana, to me it’s weak a nothing-ey whereas Athena strong and classy.

EmiliaRuusuvuori · 09/09/2023 02:34

Eliana is lovely and goes well with Rose.

CallieQ · 09/09/2023 02:46

Rose is so over used

Pottedpalm · 09/09/2023 07:01

Sofia

continentallentil · 09/09/2023 09:46

Athena - strong and beautiful

Eliana is too Disney and she’ll be one of many Ellies
Sofia/Sophia is done to death

Rose is a real filler middle name, if you can think of something else I would - Athena Juliet would be nice

TiredMummma · 09/09/2023 12:29

Dislike them all!

Tbf Athena was the 78th most popular name in 2022... I just think it's a strange name to call a child - Tyson & Paris Fury called their daughter this name. The Greek Goddess is a bit of a mixed figure, is completely ruthless, favourites men and isn't particularly nice to other woman - for example cursing poor Medusa's including turning hair into snakes purely out of envy.

Theoldwoman · 09/09/2023 13:40

Sofia Rose x

TiredMummma · 09/09/2023 12:29

Dislike them all!

Well aren’t you a peach!

Thats not what the OP asked, and weren’t you ever taught if you have nothing nice to say, then don’t say anything at all?

SequinsandStiIettos · 09/09/2023 13:53

Eliana

Delphigirl · 09/09/2023 13:59

No English people know how to pronounce Athena. None. Even when they are friends with an Athena for literally decades. If you are Greek you will know this already and can take a view. If you are English, know that you will be choosing a name you (and no doubt the child) are mispronouncing and every Greek will cringe when they hear it.
just something to think about
