@rowantree1997 , a name would be re-used within the family, so the different Margarets might be Margaret, Maggie, Meg, Peggy, Marjorie, Madge, Daisy, Greta, Rita, Margo etc
Meg(gie) and Peggy follow the same pattern as Molly and Polly being used as names for Mary

I've definitely never heard of Daisy though for Margaret!

Margaret in French is Marguerite, and that's one of their names for a daisy.
