All great.

Their sister could be .. Dawn, Holly or Rachel.

Gardenerboo · 09/08/2023 06:42

Hazel is lovely and not faddy. My Great grandmother was called Hazel in 1900 and I met a beautiful newborn with the same name last week.

OopsieeDaisy · 09/08/2023 09:11

I love Noelle! So pretty and a bit unusual. Tessa and May are ok but I can’t understand the love for Hazel, it seems really dated to me.

ChatBFP · 09/08/2023 09:50

I like hazel (though I think it is odd on a blonde) and tessa.

The only Noelle I know is absolutely lovely, but was born on Christmas Day, hence the name. Maybe because of her I see it as very seasonal.

Chevrotains · 09/08/2023 12:34

Hazel is so pretty and underrated

salamithumbs · 09/08/2023 13:08

I love Hazel and Tessa...not fond of May, and my mum has three good friends called Noelle so to me it sounds dated (although I do know two Noelles that are 16 and 30ish, so maybe just my perception).

Strokethefurrywall · 09/08/2023 13:10

Hazel or Noelle - love them both. Know a 7 year old Hazel, she's fab

ChildrenOfTheQuorn · 09/08/2023 15:25

Tessa :)

I have literally never met anyone called Noelle in my life and you know five. I think it's a really unusual name, makes me think of Noelle Gordon (going back a bit!).

I think I like Tessa best out of your list, but prefer Tess.

PurpleReindeer2 · 09/08/2023 15:31

Hazel 🥰

daisypond · 09/08/2023 15:31

May or Tessa.
I strongly dislike Hazel.
Not keen on Noelle at all.

Fraaahnces · 09/08/2023 15:32

i really love Tessa. It’s a name that travels well and won’t age.

RadishAndTwiglet · 09/08/2023 15:47

Hazel is really pretty and lovely, I also love Heather in a similar vein. Noelle is unusual and elegant. She'll certainly not have three in her year group. Tessa sounds a bit dated and frumpy to me and May is run of the mill and over-used.

Maybe it's a regional thing? I'm from Dublin, Noelle would be quite common among people over 50 I think

Beetlewings · 09/08/2023 16:37

Hazel is too harsh sounding to my ears, not one I'd like to have to shout upstairs. Noelle is lovely though.

I’d bet the PP is from Ireland

AskAgathaIfSheWantsACupOfTea · 09/08/2023 16:54

Ha. We’re going with Hazel if I’m expecting a girl, perhaps with May as a middle name. Hazel is a name we love and May is a family name.

And I’ve always loved Tessa too!

I am reallllly struggling on boys names though …

Busubaba · 09/08/2023 17:10

Hazel - lovely.
May - as a middle name.
Tessa - no. Two Ton Tessa
Noelle.- ok

dressedforcomfort · 09/08/2023 18:46

I love Hazel. Not wildly sold on the rest...

Mwnci123 · 09/08/2023 19:16

I like them all.

YukoandHiro · 09/08/2023 19:17

Like Noelle best

Longdarkcloud · 10/08/2023 17:21

If you call her May then she shouldn’t change her name if she marries a man called Day. I know of a May Day and if you look on the internet you’ll see there are others.. People seem to be unable to call her May — always has to be MayDay

bridgetreilly · 11/08/2023 12:56

I imagine them all being born in the 1960s.

Jeschara · 11/08/2023 21:52

Tessa I love it.

JemOfAWoman · 11/08/2023 21:56

I always work on the basis that if a name works for a baby, a child, a stroppy teenager and a high court judge it's a good name!
Hazel is lovely
