Hello,

Early days pregnancy-wise, but already getting excited about names. Various reasons we can't use the names in the title - is there anything else you can think of with a similar vibe?

Girls names please! Thank you

I don't have a long list like previous posters- just one name that I immediately thought: Cassiopeia.

Antigone (ahn-tigg-oh-nee) comes to mind.

Isabella has the same feel but more popular.

Coraline, Delilah, Ophelia, Savannah, Cassiopeia all similar vibes to me

I think a few people on this thread have read the Seven Sisters series.

rickandmorts · 08/07/2023 14:16

We have an Iona and if she ever has a sister I love the name Runa 🥰 I also love Catriona

Sandysandwich · 08/07/2023 14:25

They feel a bit like shakepearian names to me, maybe others like
Miranda
Adriana
Hermione
Luciana
Helena
Viola
Rosaline

midsomermurderess · 08/07/2023 15:41

Calliope; Phaedra; Phryne; Daphne.

MerryMarigold · 08/07/2023 15:53

I think Iona, which I love, is totally different from the other 2. I think Iona is a bit whimsical. I'd put it with Faith, Rosa, Cecily, Juliet, Viola.

Other two are quite classical (and a bit pompous IMHO). I know a Persephone (Seffie) if you like that route.

Harebrain · 08/07/2023 15:54

Portia, Ottolie, Miriam?

ShadowPuppets · 08/07/2023 15:57

My first thought was Genevieve
