If I like Cedric

I absolutely love the name Cedric and can't find anything I like more... my husband wants to have a couple to choose from it it's a boy.

We have a DD with an unusual welsh name so I don't want anything popular.

I know Cedric is very marmite and I'm expecting to get flamed... but I still love it

There was a thread not long ago with the name Aldric and I thought that was really nice.

Love Silas but our surname is quite Ssss heavy so it doesn't flow

I think Alaric is how you'd pronounce it.

I think it's got some way to go to be popular though, didn't even register on the U.K. name lists the year our Wulfie was born because there have to be minimum 3 registered births lol.

Me too, it was my Grandfather’s name (who died before I was born) I want someone in the family to use it! I had all girls , so I couldn’t.

I wonder if it is/was more popular in NZ? I went to school (70’s/80’s) with quite a few Cedric’s, all wonderful kids! Then my first job when I left school , the owner was Cedric and he was a fantastic human being!

What about Drazik? Lennon? Arley?

I love Cedric - the meaning is beautiful.

I adore Cedric but unfortunately for me it rhymes with my husbands name so I feel we can't use it (having a boy aswell) so please use it for the both of us. It's a wonderful, underused name and needs some love
