What are your thoughts on Leander for a boy? Quite popular in Norway apparently but unusual in the UK with the name given to only 11 baby boys last year, what are your thoughts?

@17caterpillars1mouse He's almost a year old now, not had a chance to run into too many stumbling blocks yet as it were. So far everyone has said that they like the name (not sure if they're just being polite of course) & only one person thought he was a girl which perhaps unexpectedly was a nurse giving him one of his vaccinations when he was dressed in a dinosaur outfit - asked how she reacted to the previous dose, how was she sleeping etc. No-one has had trouble spelling his name either when I've said his name (e.g. when registering the birth, swim classes etc) its always been spelt correctly first time. It was also a class of frigate apparently. A colleague of DH thought that I was Spanish because of the name but that's been about it! Congratulations btw 😃

It’s a great name. I love it.
If it’s good enough for the Royal Navy it’s good enough for your don.
