Shortlist is finally down to Elliot or Jake...

Too many El names about

As your surname is a common first name, I wouldn't use a first name that is a relatively common surname.
Honestly, I have to deal with a lot of names on a database, and hate it when I am given names that you don't know which way round they are.

For this reason, I'd go with Jake, although, if it were me, I'd call him Jacob on the birth certificate to give him more choice.
