Phoebe

Phoebe.

Luna is a repulsive name.

CountessBathorysBeautySecrets · 28/05/2023 22:03

Phoebe.

Luna became very popular in a very short space of time so will seem more dated 20 years from now. Plus the whole 'lunatic' thing. It's just not that nice.

Orangebadger · 28/05/2023 22:18

Phoebe.

My dog is called Luna as she is a looney lunatic. Great for a dog but not a person!

SoShallINever · 28/05/2023 22:57

Lunatic is disablist.
Just saying.

SoftSheen · 28/05/2023 22:58

Luna is nice.
Phoebe is boring and reminds me of 'freebie'.

toomanyleggings · 28/05/2023 23:06

Phoebe is my favourite girls name ever. If it was socially acceptable I’d have called both my daughter’s Phoebe

Prairie21 · 28/05/2023 23:40

Yes sorry I know 3 dogs called Luna and it does sound a bit made up as a name for a person

Alloveragain3 · 29/05/2023 00:06

I think Luna is pretty.
Luana is also nice but less common.

Phoebe sounds quite posh to me and will forever be a Friends character. It is a pretty name though.

RuthW · 29/05/2023 06:38

Both lovely but ai say Phoebe as dd was nearly one.

peacelemon · 29/05/2023 06:52

Luna is already dating. It's a dogs name also.

supersonicspeed · 29/05/2023 06:55

Phoebe!

Picklewicklepickle · 29/05/2023 07:01

Yeah Luna is a dog’s name sorry.

Also ,I always associate it with a thread on here started by an op describing how she named her daughter Luna because it was Italian for sun and it was such a lovely meaning and it makes me giggle.

user1492757084 · 29/05/2023 07:14

Phoebe.

Chilli81 · 29/05/2023 08:10

Whether you like Luna or not it's not a made up name. It's pretty common around the world and means moon which I personally think is lovely.

Lemieux3 · 29/05/2023 08:11

Phoebe

Cressie2 · 02/06/2023 20:52

Neither. Both overdone.

SemperIdem · 03/06/2023 22:06

I think both are nice, but quite different in style. Luna is obviously a nature name, with a bit of an alternative vibe. Phoebe is more classic.

JamSandle · 04/06/2023 23:49
